ABOUT the Artist
As you can see, the classic “I’ve loved art forever” resides in this image of me as a child *queue the eye roll*
But genuinely, nothing has ever brought me greater fulfilment than creating art.
Drawing has been something I have always practised, with this strong desire to be able to draw anything.
I would draw on anything and everything, including doodles in my school books, on my best friend’s skin during lessons, on my bedroom walls, and on my own body with Sharpie pens. I would practice until the early hours to the point that I was then known as, ‘that Lauren girl who can draw’.
I dabbled in painting with watercolour, inks and sometimes acrylic paint but I didn’t fully throw myself into painting until 2021. This is when I found the Milan Art Institute.
A year later, I was so inspired by this wonderful family of Artists, that I bit the bullet (whilst absolutely terrified) and enrolled in the Mastery Program. I am now studying with the Institute and don’t think I will ever look back.
My mission as an Artist
Being brave, bold and strong is beautiful. The darkest part of yourself cannot exist without light. There is always space to be fearless in the pursuit of your destiny.
